Living in Limbo: Hong Kong

Limbo:  “An uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution; an intermediate state or condition”. Not to be confused with the Limbo (dance), which is quite a bit more fun but also requires a certain level of flexibility.

While awaiting the “decision/ resolution” to move from the Fiji Islands to Rwanda, my time of living- in- limbo was spent by first exploring the cool city of Hong Kong, then relishing time in my old stomping grounds, South Africa. This ‘uncertain period’ was more than pleasant, not at all awkward, and fully embraced! For one to appreciate this time of being neither here nor there, one must really live in the moment.  And that I did!
